Blog Zero: Why does this exist? And how?

Why? -FB makes my tummy hurt -Twitter is going to heck -I've found myself consuming too much. Creation is much better for my mental health -Potentially a resume host in the future -escape teh shackles of corporate web -We're entering an age of automatically generated slop, gunking up the web even more. I prefer my hand-hewn, artisanal, small-batch slop created by actual cranks and degenrates. How? -I've started so many online course, but never stick with them beyond the first hour or so. I used to think this was a personal shortcoming (I know I don't know how to study, but am I really even incapable of sticking with being a passive learner too?), but as I've grown up (and having serotonin ... god bless my SSRIs) I've finally figured out that active engagement is 1) how you actually learn someting 2) waaaaaaaaaay more fun -But why Neocities? Well, like so many of my hobbies as of late the algorithmic pre-cogs at YouTube brought this to me. And here's the video that started me off: https://youtu.be/peYYxM_pamQ?si=2H-1h564tKvV3Q_Y -I want to shout-out Li,LMaW (F*ck it, Let's Make a Website! url: https://docs.google.com/document/d/115PAWY0lnSpCb8tVPm_YF7R7FGgNjFeDvOcZV4Nricc/edit?usp=sharing)
